Catholic Schools Week

On Monday, February 1st, students gathered in the auditorium for an informative assembly concerning Catholic Schools Week.

For Tuesday, students are allowed to wear shirts and sweatshirts from Catholic schools or Colleges. However, everyone is expected to be in dress code for their bottom wear. Before school starts on Tuesday, Mr. Foy will be hosting a five minute prayer service in the cafeteria at 7:40 AM. Following the prayer service there will be donuts and juice provided by the Parent Association.
On Wednesday, students and faculty are expected to dress appropriately for the all school liturgy. Classes will be shortened to allow regular scheduled classes to meet.
Thursday’s theme will be “What I want to be when I grow-up” day. Students are to pick an appropriate profession and which must be approved by Mr. Geittmann at least one day in advance. After school, Sister Vicki will also host a prayer service in the cafeteria. Proceeding the prayer service will be an ice cream social.
Friday will be spirit wear for all students and a jeans day. Dominican’s Talent Show will finish off Catholic Schools Week with various acts performed by students.
